Our relationship just gets better every day.
My boyfriend and I started talking about 6 months ago. A month later he asked me out, we still hadn't seen each other. He lives in Newport Beach, CA and I live 6 hours away from him in Modesto, CA. Three months after we took the step of being in a relationship, I left to Newport Beach for a whole week to meet him. Now we have been together for 5 months and our relationship just gets better every day. Thanks LDS Mingle!

Before we left the airport we knew we would be married.
I joined LDSMingle in late June of 2009. I had been widowed for a year and a half and was so lonely. It was less than two weeks later that I was first contacted by MountainFan. He told me that he was on the website to find people who had experienced the loss of an eternal companion and could validate his feelings and give him ideas as to how to deal with the grieving process. I responded and we made a date to chat. After chatting for about an hour and finding it pretty cumbersome, we decided to share telephone numbers and e-mail addresses. I had a blog that I had created to help me deal with my loss, so I shared that with him. I think he fell in love with me reading my blog. It was less than three days of frequent e-mails and phone calls when I also began to fall in love with him. We shared so many things in common.
We decided we needed to meet, but our lives were both busy, and we set our meeting for about a month out. It was so hard to wait that long! I live in the Seattle area and he in Utah, so we decided to meet in Southern Utah where he has a son and I have a daughter. I flew into Las Vegas and he met me there. Before we left the airport we knew we would be married. The next day he proposed to me in the St. George Temple, and we will be married in early September. Thank you LDS Mingle for bringing us together.

The hardest thing to do is to get out there and meet new people; LDS Mingle provided the venue where it is easy and effortless to make the initial overtures. Through this website, I was able to find that special someone: our profiles sparked/kindled our interest for each other, but it is in the personal meeting and dating that true friendship and love blossoms. That is what happened to me...to us...and can happen to anyone with the desire to seek adventure, fun, and love!

I met "Livelife1515" on here last year in August. I had pretty much given up on ever meeting someone, until I met him. We spent a few months getting to know each other over email and the phone. We met New Year's Day and knew within a week that we would be together forever. He is the one I have spent the last 7 years searching for and we could not be happier!! I was just about to give up because all I could find was long distance relationships that never worked out. I live in a rural small town and it has been extremely hard to find a decent woman that lives close to me and then I found Suzanne on LDS Mingle. She is everything I have been looking for.
