To our expectations and relief, we hit it off!
We met only 2 months ago. I was just killing time, he was not even a full member of LDS Mingle yet... but he had a feeling about me and joined so we could speak. It started as a simple in-evasive conversation while I was at work... not expecting anything beyond that silly chat, but everything just clicked so well. After a couple weeks, we knew we had to meet. The tricky part was the fact we didn't even live on the same continent.
I'm in California, he is in England. But somehow we managed a meeting in England. We knew it would either end it all or solidify our already strong feelings. To our expectations and relief, we hit it off! He proposed to me in the Butterfly Habitat of Tropical World.
Sadly I had to return to California alone, but we're planning his visit to meet my family for Christmas and working on the visa to move him here to stay!!! We will probably marry in the Sacramento Temple...not sure when yet. But we talk every day on Skype and we proudly wear our engagement rings until we finally are able to be together for good.
How could we have met any other way? Thanks LDS Mingle!
