Being a single father, things are not always easy. Dating had seemed especially difficult.
I seemed to have alot of women wanting to date me, but none of them seemed right. I even became very attracted and thought a one or two were 'it', until I prayed about things and realized that I had not found her'.
After I had become more active in Church and was striving constantly to live the gospel, one of my customers/friends signed me up on this site after praying for me often to meet someone in the Church that I fit with. I could not afford to sacrifice my children's provisions at the time to subscribe, I met Renee during the free communication during New Years. She is amazing!! We seemed to hit it off immeadiately. It has not been long since we started dating, but the feelings I have are uplifting and are there even when she is not. My prayers about it only intensify the feelings. She is wonderful!! I have never been this excited about dating someone! Living by the gospel and praying often is great!! Faith and effort really can accomplish anything!
About a few weeks ago, I met the love of my life. This is how my story began.
When I first signed up for LDSMingle, I wasn't a subscriber. I thought to myself that it would be a wiser idea to get a subscription. If I wanted to chat with fellow minglers and get to know them, then a paid subscription would be the best option. I think it took me about a couple of weeks before I finally met kateyes19. I decided to check her profile. Her profile caught my attention so I decided to chat with her. To my amazement she responded to my chat request. We hit it off from start to finish. I think it took me a couple of days of chatting with her when I finally asked for her cellular phone number. She told me she would prefer texting than talking over the phone. The next day, I texted her and from that moment on, we couldn't stop texting to each other! I asked her on a date over the weekends but she already had plans with her friends. She told me she was free on Friday night. We met at a Mexican restaurant. When I laid eyes on her for the first time, it was love at first sight. We had an endless evening together. From that moment on, we saw each other everyday. We couldn't bear the thought of being a part for so long. It was romance is in the air. In my entire life, I didn't think I would find true love, but I was wrong! Love found me where I least expected it. She was in Utah County. All I had to do was say, hi....We fell in love!
Thank you LDSMingle!

A nice Australian girl who has been living in Denver, CO for the last 3 years found me on LDS Mingle. I live in Seattle, Washington. We have been dating for almost 5 months and things look quite positive. We have shared many adventures together. I was quite skeptical of online dating at first, but I think it is a bit easier than trying to meet in a social function.
I was busy finishing my last semester of school to get my BA Degree and missed the first two smiles that joraj(Lorenzo) sent to me. During a break in school I finally checked my LDSMingle account and replied to his smiles. It quickly went from smiles to chatting online and then to phone calls. He left town to visit family and we still stayed in touch by phone. The day he returned back to Utah we met in person for the first time. After the first meeting we started dating. Because he was visiting Utah from Panama, we made sure to attend General Conference together. After conference he proposed and I said yes. We were married on December 9 2010. Thanks to LDSMingle we are now a happy family of four joraj(Lorenzo), myself and my two children.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Words cannot describe the joy that I feel as I sit next to my husband and write you this letter. Yes, I said HUSBAND!!! We were married today after much prayer and fasting. We both can honestly say that we do not understand exactly why or really even how the Lord's mysterious ways work, but they do.
When we met on Mingle we really thought we would be the best of friends because he was not looking to complicate his life with a relationship and I felt a long distance relationship was not something I wanted. I would call and chat with him about the AWFUL dates I went on from people from the site and some I was set up on. We would share and laugh and our friendship grew. I did not want to hit the New Year's Dance scene, the thought of it petrified me. So we arranged for me to come and visit and the rest they say was left up to the Lord. We owe the happiness we feel now to you- well at least the initial introduction.

We met on LDS Mingle during the week of Thanksgiving. She lived four hours south of me and when I had messaged he she instant messaged me. We talked for a bit, then exchanged numbers. Then she said that she would be up in this area visiting family for a week for the holidays. The day he drove up we met at Cafe Rio in Provo and had a great conversation. We said we wanted to take things slow and then we seemed to hang out every day including me with her family and hers with mine. When she left back home we really missed each other and we decided we wanted more then just a casual relationship. It has not been too long, but we are heading strong and talk every day and we went to Build A Bear Workshop and bought each other a bear we made. I have never been happier in my life and know this is going to work. I wish everyone all the success and if it was not for LDS Mingle we would have never met. Thanks for your website and for giving me my beautiful goddess who makes my world go round.
My fiance and I originally met on LDS Mingle, but the funny thing is although we lived states away, he used to live where I did and we actually knew quite a few of the same people. We starting chatting and unfortunately fell out of contact for a few months, but by a fluke happenstance, we reconnected and everything has taken off since then. We met up in person for the first time in January 2010, I moved to where he lives in May, and we are getting married in January 2011! I never expected anything to really come from the online dating, but it's been better than I could ever imagine!
Her Side of the Love Story:
I signed up for LDSMingle at the insistence of a friend. I was already part of three other dating websites. I paid for one month, had mild success, then left for a trip. I was involved in a bad relationship previously and wasn't really interested in dating or anything serious. I sent some smiles on LDS Mingle since I couldn't afford a membership, then got an e-mail from someone I was interested in. I finally made the decision to pay for another month to read his email. It was lame, but I decided to take advantage of the month and use the IM, I talked to several guys. Then one day Inkryptoguy started chatting with me while I was chatting with some other guys. He was fun to talk to and I was so glad to talk to a normal person when he was online! We laughed a lot. Then the next day I couldn’t get online and I was surprised to see an e-mail from him saying he missed me. We started chatting more frequently and my desire to have a relationship started returning. I started talking to him more and others less. I found myself getting excited everyday to talk to him and when he said he wanted to meet I was way excited. It just felt like we clicked. We had no problems talking to each other. It felt good to get to know him before meeting him. I always wanted to meet a guy with the kind of values he had. I loved coming up with excuses to see him like having breakfast after I got off work and before he got to work. Since we lived far apart, but both worked in Salt Lake City, texting each other was always fun and we found ourselves wanting to spend more time with each other each day. Now I’m so excited we are getting married!!!!
His Side of the Love Story:
I was browsing for people online one day to chat with, when I saw a picture of SoldierMedic51. It was kind of a distant shot so I was somewhat hesitant to click her profile and start chatting, but I'm so glad I took the chance. We started up a conversation immediately and we were both laughing soon after the initial contact. I am recently divorced and so I was just looking to make friends at first, but Rebecca came to my rescue and saved me from single life. I am a single father, with full custody of my daughter and Rebecca has been a dream come true and has been a blessing to both of us. We are grateful to have her in our lives. Our first date was at the Gateway in SLC, UT. I remember being so nervous that when I saw her I about lost my breath. One of my fondest memories was ice skating and later eating breakfast together in my car before work. She would get breakfast burritos from Betos and we would talk and look at each other out of our peripheral vision, it was funny. We are getting married November 23rd and with your help, we have found each other. Thank You, LDSMingle!

It was around General Conference time and I hadn't been having much success in the dating life. Then I received a smile from a girl on LDSMingle, named Angiecita, from Peru. I served a mission in Mexico, so I knew Spanish and I replied with a message, and soon she replied again. The Monday after conference, we starting chatting for the first time, and neither of us wanted to stop. We ended up chatting practically every day; it became a nightly ritual. We couldn't get enough of each other. We started calling each other as well occasionally, and eventually I saved up enough money to travel down there and meet her and her family. We had a great time together and I proposed to her at the Lima, Peru temple. Now we are just waiting for the paperwork to go through so she can come here and we can get married in the Salt Lake Temple. We are so in love.
