I signed on here when it was still LDSSC. I met some one on there who later came back on as BBTeacher. It was the same person. So we hit it off after a year of playing in Chat, phoning her to help her with her computer and then to long phone calls and IM sessions. We met in late June and then we didn't want to be apart. So we decided to get married and that's exactly what we did. We couldn't be happier. Thanks LDSMingles for getting us together.
Juneanne and I met via LDSMingle and were married in October of 2001. We have both experienced the turmoil of second marriage - blending families and outside interferences, but we are very happy and feel our life together is heaven on earth. Our spirits have grown as we were able to strive for eternal companionship together. May all who use this forum find friendship, then companionship and love ... I am grateful for the technology that allowed us to find each other and provide us with many years of joy.
As I've spend more than 5 years on this site, I've met a lot of wonderful people and am grateful for all the friendships and for some of the issues that has been discussed on the message boards. After dating cross-atlantic and talking to guys in almost every part of the world, I finally met the right guy. He lives within a mile from me :) We have known each other for 15 years, but since he was married I never really saw him, until way after his divorce. Actually I took his pictures and helped him set up his Mingle profile :) He is everything I ever asked for; Strong in the church, intelligent, warm, passionate and a wonderful substitute father for my sons. In a few weeks - NOV 7th 2009 - we will get sealed in the Temple in Copenhagen and start a long wanted chapter in our lives. Even though we didn't really meet on LDS Mingle, I still want to express my appreciation for the safe place it has been to meet people with the same standards.

I met my wife on this site. We chatted and emailed for a few months before we set a date to meet in person. What better place to meet than at the Temple. We had such an inspirational date, I had to see her again! A month later, we were engaged and what a wonderful person she is. We are perfect together and are a 100% match. If it happened to me, it could happen to you! Good luck and God bless.
I hadn't had any luck on here and one day an amazing guy named Kurtis started messaging me and we started talking more and more. The first time we ever talked on the phone, the conversation lasted 5 and a half hours. We started talking on the phone every day from then on. We finally met a few weeks later and hit it off. We already finish each others sentences and I'm so so lucky he found me.
Thanks Lds Mingle!
Our story is simple. We met on this site and dated and now we are getting married in 5 days in the Draper Temple. I had been on this sight for 5 years and no one peaked my interest until one day I logged in and I knew the minute I saw his picture and read his profile that he was "the one". He felt the same way and we honestly believe that we were led to each other. It has been a wonderful experience for both of us and we are both grateful we found each other. As it turned out, our sisters have been best friends for years and had wanted to line us up, but never did so it was "LDS Mingle" that brought us together.
I met my handsome hunk on July 15th. It was his profile that first caught my eye. I saw that we had a lot in common and thought it would be a good thing to get to know him better. I sent him an email in the morning and by the afternoon he had written back. We chatted online for six and a half hours and then on the phone for two more. We met after I returned home from vacation and things have steadily progressed. I love him so much and am grateful the Lord led us both to each other. Good luck minglers!
My boyfriend and I started talking about 6 months ago. A month later he asked me out, we still hadn't seen each other. He lives in Newport Beach, CA and I live 6 hours away from him in Modesto, CA. Three months after we took the step of being in a relationship, I left to Newport Beach for a whole week to meet him. Now we have been together for 5 months and our relationship just gets better every day. Thanks LDS Mingle!
I found that needle in the hay stack, and who would have guessed that she lives only 10 minutes from my house? It's crazy the way that things turn out....and the way that they sometimes don't. I don't remember the last time that I felt this happy and content. She is all I could hope for in a woman. Without LDSMingle, we could have continued to live in the same town and pass each other by on one of our late night trips to Wal-Mart, and never have discovered that the answers to our prayers was within arms distance. Telling friends and family that we met on-line is still not my favorite. We all want that fantastic story that keeps friends and family on the edge of their seats and leaves them with tears in their eyes at the finish. The truth is, that when all is said and done, I'm with the person I am meant to be with, and she with me. I'm looking forward to many other exciting and adventurous stories we'll have to tell along the way.
