I met the love of my life...

Hi! I wanted to congratulate you for building a site that works! I met my husband, Nicholas, on your site last summer and we were married in the Washington, DC Temple on December 14th. We are expecting our first child at Christmas!

Living in "the mission field," I had a really hard time meeting quality, worthy young LDS men to date. I had been a member for several years, paying for the service off and on. I decided to give it one more try and I met the love of my life three weeks later. I wanted to share my story because maybe your other members have gotten discouraged from time to time. I learned that persistence pays off.

Thank you so much for introducing me to my eternal companion.

Sincerely,
Melissa23

We will finally be reunited again...

Two years ago, I met my wife on this site. I was a member and she responded with a free week long membership opportunity. She instant messaged me because she liked my profile and was trying to get the most from her short membership. We started talking and formed a friendship and eventually developed into soul mates. We met on this site sometime around March of 2006. Then I traveled to Brazil in December of 2006 for ten days to meet her and her family for the first time. We were engaged by the time I left. We planned a very nice civil wedding for June 22nd and we went to the Sao Paulo Temple June 23 to be sealed for time and eternity. We have had our share of trials getting through the immigration process. It has taken us a year to make it through the process, but I'm happy to say that this July, we will finally be reunited again and be able to start our life together. Thank You LDS Mingle!

Life is good.

We met on this site and after speaking on the phone a few times, we got together in person. It wasn't love at first sight for either of us, but we had learned enough about one another to know we wanted to see each other again. We soon realized we were different from anyone either of us had dated before and that was a very good thing! We are getting married and I can't wait! Life is good.

We began our happily ever after.

I contacted him with a smile. Emails progressed to chats and finally we exchanged numbers. Then fate intervened..a business trip was rescheduled for Wisconsin instead of St Louis. We met in person on "neutral" ground. Our first date was fabulous! We talked for hours.

Date 2 was five weeks later (we were both seeing other people and that was our first available weekend). Soon I was driving to Wisconsin at least 2-3 weekends a month.

Dallin H. Oakes' talk (Apr '07) encourages us to "inquire well" with marriage. So I took a temporary job in Wisconsin four months later.

We were both on several other sites, but this site was the easiest one to meet. We got married in May of 2008 and began our happily ever after.

Passports, Romantic Rendezvous, & lots of Freq. Flyer Miles.

GatsbyGirl,(Lisa) a confirmed bachelorette and Steve_Hannington (well, Steve), a very confirmed bachelor (both of "a certain age") met on LDSMingle in March of 2006. She was in Utah and he, a Canadian, was in Scotland at the time taking a break from Corporate life and working on a law degree.

Both had recently joined LDSMingle, thinking, "why not?" They kept it light, casual, and let the sparks fly naturally. An opportunity presented itself a month and a half after they initially started corresponding and next thing they knew,, GatsbyGirl was on a plane to Scotland to meet her Internet Suitor. (By the way, GatsbyGirl is a savvy business traveler and went with a bunch of "Plan B's" and a whole lot of cash in her back pocket so she could get out of an undesirable situation, should one present itself. Plus, she chatted briefly with his Bishop in Scotland before she hopped the pond to see Steve.)

But Lisa didn't have to exercise any of her Plan B's. She and Steve spent a magical time together touring the Scottish Highlands and sparks soon turned into some flames.

Two months after that first encounter, they rendezvoused again, but this time in Bath, England. (Enter swirling Jane Austen soundtrack.) Flames have now ignited into a full blown bon fire.

The following October, Steve moves back to the continent (though, still only in Canada) and they spend the next year and half rendezvousing in places such as Niagara Falls, Calgary, Moab, Zion, Grand Canyon, British Columbia, Bryce Canyon, Toronto, Palmyra, Salt Lake City, and even Costa Rica, though still not living in the same country.

So for two years, families are met, passports stamped, frequent flyer miles acquired and used, and finally on April 19, 2008--two years after they met in Scotland, they were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.

THANK YOU LDS Mingle! This could have never happened without you!

She is the woman of my dreams...

I met Italian_Jewelz (Julie) here on LDS Mingle in November of 2007. She is from Vegas and I'm from Los Angeles. We started dating and fell madly in love. She is the woman of my dreams and I'm so glad I found her. We are getting married on June 21st in the LA temple.

Thank you LDS Mingle!!!

It's like we had been together for many years.

Single_t and I met online in early August of 2007. At first there didn't seem to be much of a "spark". I was dealing with some family issues and really wasn't looking for a serious relationship at the time. We started chatting and then in September we made the jump to phone calls. We would talk for hours, although he told me that he was (as he put it), "taking a long hard look across the room." I knew that there was something special about him.

He is in the military and I lived 7 hours away. One of his requirements was that if this relationship was to be, then I would have to be the one to move, because he couldn't. In October we made the decision to meet; he was coming to visit his daughter that lived in the same city as I did.

The minute I opened the door, I knew immediately WHO he was. I had never met this man before, but I recognized him immediately. He seemed so familiar to me. Our subsequent meeting and dates were so simple, yet so enjoyable, like we had been together for many years.

And so it is with great excitement that we announce that on July 19,2008, we will be married. I have met my soul-mate, the man who I firmly believe I knew in the preexistence.

I met an angel and we hit it off immediately!!!

I met an angel and we hit it off immediately!!! We both never thought we could really meet someone special online. Not only did we do exactly that, but we met exactly what we were both looking for!!!

We were meant to be together.

Peggy and I used the compatibility testing which scored us both in the high 90's. From then, we started using over 1000 minutes on our phones. We were meant to be together, Amen. Peggy's a little jealous of me and is over suspicious, but she knows deep down that I love her very deeply. If I have my way, we will be together forever. Her good cooking is my heaven on earth.
