Larry found me via Classmates.com, but we were not classmates. He searched the dating side of that site looking for an LDS woman looking for an LDS man. I was the only one on that site that fit that description. I then directed him to LDSMingle and the rest is icing on the cake. We came up as a very high match on the Compatibility Report and that was the foundation in which we started to build upon with emails, IM conversations, and then MANY, MANY LONG, LONG hours on the phone before meeting.
We both have had personal witnesses of the purpose for our meeting. Larry proposed to me in the LA Temple Celestial Room on the 15th of March and we will marry in the SLC Temple once we receive our letters from the First Presidency.
Never give up, ladies! I have been on LDS Mingle for over five and a half years. Yes, years and had only one lunch date with a guy whose photo was about 15 years younger than him. Then I met the man of my dreams. I live in Canada and he emailed me because his cousin lives in the same city as I do. We started talking on the phone in March, he came up here to meet me from Iowa in early June, and we'll be married in early August...fast, eh? We both know this is right and we could not be happier. I had nearly given up hope of ever meeting anyone, but I did and we are very happy. So, ladies, never give up. The man of your dreams will find you just as my man found me. It may take a bit of time, but it will happen!

My Screen name is Johnc02. I met a beautiful young lady here on LDS Mingle. Her screen name is MissyKaelani. We dated for a little over a year and were married April 19, 2008. We are very happy together. I have not only gotten a wife, but two step-daughters. I look forward to a long and happy life with my new family. We are now living in Massachusetts.

In January I came across the profile of BlueEyedBill. It caught my attention because he mentioned he liked to play racquetball. Our first and second dates were on the courts and we are still playing regularly. Along the way, we fell in love and were married on June 14th. Thank you LDS Mingle, for bringing us together. We met with a blunt "your hot" and from there we texted and talked on the phone every day and night starting in January of 2008...(her voice got me flustered too! lol) About 3 months and numerous butterflies later, we met in person and it was just how we each had hoped...I proposed to her at Temple Square and took her by complete surprise! (reeeal niiice!) It's now late June and all is great! I doubted and resented the internet dating idea, but the more I've thought about it, the more sense it makes. It allows people to get to know one another based on who they really are, minus other potentially influential and relatively disastrous details....So I'm telling ya...get down with the Mingle!
Well, I met Sarah 3 years ago at a YSA activity. I didn't remember her, but recently saw her on LDS Mingle, sent her a smile, and she replied. Yes, we chatted for a couple of weeks through chat, then I randomly picked her up from the airport. It was love at first sight for me. For her, I'm not too sure, but we are now engaged to be married on Aug 14th in Hamilton, New Zealand. I can't wait! Good luck to all others trying to find that other person.
I am graduating from this site and marrying triximore on June 20th. Thanks to you and this site I have found an ideal companion. I have enjoyed this experience.

We met after only being on-line for a week and half. After 6 weeks of corresponding, we met in person and it was love at first site! Thank you LDS Mingle! The Lord certainly guided us to each other, we are over a 1000 miles apart.
After a messy divorce and several years of searching, I finally found "MR. RIGHT", literally! I was dating a guy who, at that time, left me "out to dry." While not knowing what HE was doing, I continued to look for friends. After that fiasco, I decided I would never again chat with or date someone who was not within a reasonable distance from me. One night, just before Thanksgiving in 2007, I was online when I found him. The funny thing was, I had seen him before, but never had any inclination to do anything about it...so, I sent (bearcubsa) Paul a smile, not expecting anything back. To my amazement, he sent me a card and at the same time I was checking my mail, he was checking his...so, we started chatting. For the next several days, we spent every night either on the phone or chatting.
Paul came to Rexburg to meet me on the 30th of November. When I saw him, my first thought was "This is NEVER going to happen." I didn't really like him all that much, but after that first weekend, I couldn't seem to get rid of him! The next weekend he came up was the 15th of December and he has been here/or I've been there every weekend since. During the winter on the weekends, he would drive the hour and a half to see me. It always seemed to blizzard BEFORE he left Pocatello or AFTER he got here, but never while he was on the road.
On March 23, 2008, Paul asked my dad, then informed the rest of my family that he was going to ask me to marry him. This was of course everyone, BUT me! On April 10th, he asked me to marry him and we were married on May 23, 2008.
Looking back at all that has transpired since November, we both KNOW that we are meant to be together. We are going to be sealed next year on our one year anniversary!
