I wasn't expecting to meet anybody on here that would lead to dating and marriage. I definitely did not think that Jennifer would return my smile and eventually my emails. After a period of no correspondence with Jennifer after a month of weekly contact, I lost interest in looking for matches on LDS Mingle because no one measured up to her. My thoughts were, "I found the most beautiful, perfect match for me, how do I go on looking," and I was about to discontinue my account when she magically popped into my life once more. Now she will never ever leave my life...ever. San Antonio Temple is the goal...March of 2009.
Thanks LDS MINGLE!
My 5 year old son and I began praying in May, very specifically to meet the man who would complete our little family. I live in Indiana, I was browsing through the limited palette of men in my area, putting "Yes", "No" or "Maybe" on their profiles...when I came across a goofy looking guy in King Arthur chain mail and a crown who lived 3 hours away. I chuckled and put him down as a maybe. Two weeks after I prayed so specifically, he hit me up for a chat through the site, and though I didn't want to (I'd found more "Yes's" I'd rather talk to than this "Maybe"), to be polite, I talked with him.
His bishop had asked him just 2 weeks before (how ironic) what he was doing with his life... he'd been divorced for 4 years and it was time to settle down.
I've not stopped talking to him since and we're planning to have all 6 of our combined children at our December, 2008 wedding. We are both so grateful that Heavenly Father has blessed us with our new big and beautiful family. We are also grateful that this site exists or our family wouldn't!
I met D222M on here around December of 2006. He attempted to ask me out several times, in which I consistently told him no. He had told me he was part of the 222nd Field Artillery in the Utah National Guard. He knew a couple of my friends from high school and I did my research. Everyone I talked to said he was a nice guy, but I was still shy.
One night, he asked me if I enjoyed competition. I said, "Yes". He then decided to take me out to dinner and a night of laser tag. I would like to say it was happily ever after after that, but that wasn't our story.
He had been through a divorce times two while being deployed both times. I saw we had the same birthday and he decided we should make it a date. It was about Christmas time in 2007 that I didn't want him out of my life. No matter how much he tried to protect his heart, he kept me in his life. I also kept consistent prayers of what to do. I commuted from work late at night and he always would call to make sure I was safe. He was always there as my best friend. He was more concerned about my safety home from trips than even my parents had ever been (and they always worried!). He always told me how beautiful I was. Everything he did, I fell in love with.
On the day I graduated from school, he proposed. We are now in the midst of our wedding plans and I cannot wait!
Thank you LDS Mingle. To be honest, I never thought I'd be one writing my Success Story on here.

OK. I have been on this site many times and the most recent adventure took place after I moved to Idaho. As soon as I was settled, I signed up for LDS Mingles. Immediately, I had over 100 women look at my profile, including one from California. Her name is Loretta and we have been chatting online for hours and talking by phone. Well, today I am happy to report that we are getting married in December of 2008. It has been a fast relationship, but like the missionaries told me years ago, "You don't have to hear all the discussions before you know the Church is True". Hence, I am driving to California next week and then we are getting married either in the San Diego or Redlands Temple. Then we are driving back to Idaho to get some things closed and a U-haul loaded. Then we will make our new home in California; Earthquakes and all. They have had a few this week. Thanks again!
There is so much that has happened in the last four months that it is hard to remember.
Our profiles met and it was love at first type.
He would encourage me with the exercise regime that I was on and send scripture passages that were helpful for the moment. Then for some unknown reason, he was gone. I thought that he met someone else.
About two weeks later he IM'd me. The only thing that I could get out that didn't sound too desperate was..."Hi, I missed you."
It took about five minute for him to respond. I thought that I came across a little too intense. What was really happening was the fact that he was at first shocked that someone had actually noticed that he had been away and the other was that he was fighting the tears, because he had feeling for me too and was about to declare them. (I just moved a little faster.) The rest has been absolutely blissful. Our families are blending well and our joy and gratefulness to our Lord (I know that He had a hand in it as well) is eternal.
I do want to say "Thank you" to LDSMingle for helping. We would not have met otherwise.
We are having a temple marriage in the spring.
Thank you again.
Kermdawg and I meet here in May of '08. Everything just fell into place and we fell madly in love with each other! We both thought that we would never meet our soul mate and we were both about to give up, but because of LDSMingle, we found each other. We got married on Oct 11, 2008. It was a beautiful ceremony. Now I have the family I've always wanted with my husband and his two kids. We are so very happy! Thank You so much!

I met the love of my life, Jeff, (Brightwhiteknight) on LDS Mingle. We met on this site and started emailing each other a lot. He instant messaged me and we got to know each other really well. We met when he flew down to Mexico just for me! He showed up with flowers and played songs on the guitar for me. He kept telling me how beautiful I am. Now I am getting my Visa to the US and as soon as we meet for only the second time, we will be married!

He took a chance with me and sent a smile on LDS Mingle. We started out as friends chatting every once and a while and soon these chats became telephone conversations which advanced to web cam. We have finally met and fell madly in love at first sight. I never dreamed anyone would look at me the way he does, like he sees an angel in front of him. I have found my soul mate for all time and eternity and he makes me feel like I am the most beautiful girl in the world. Thank you LDSmingle!
One day I noticed he had checked out my profile, so I looked at his and he is so hot, that I had to send him a smile! Then he responded and before we knew it, we were IM'ing and talking. It's like we were made for each other specifically. A match made in heaven! We are currently engaged to be married on November 22nd, 2008!
