After being single for almost 8 years, and my husband for 6 years, little did we know that we would be married this year. My husband had contacted me about 2 years ago, sending me a flirt. In return, I sent him a flirt. This went on for a couple of weeks with just flirts as he wasn't a member. After a couple of weeks of flirting we both went our own ways and started dating other people.

Last year, he contacted me again with another flirt and I again, sent him one just for fun. I wasn't planning on dating anymore having had enough but thought, what the heck, it is only a flirt and nothing would come of it just like before. Fortunately for us, that wasn't the case and we finally made contact with each other late one night.

I was still adamant about not dating, but he was persistent for a couple of weeks trying to get me to meet him for dinner. I finally agreed to meet for dinner and we had such a great time. Actually at dinner, he realized that we knew each other from when we were in our early 20's, but didn't tell me and I didn't realize it.

A week and a half went by before he contacted me again to ask me out, and I accepted. After the second date, we were pretty much inseparable. If we weren't together, we were texting each other, always wanting to be in contact with one another, talking and flirting.

Even though he figured it out about us knowing each other before, he made it his little secret, and would just say things that would remind me of when I was young and single. I thought it was strange that he knew so much and after about 2 weeks it finally clicked with me. Once it did, we had so much fun reminiscing about those times of when we used to flirt with each other, dance together at the singles dances, and hang out together. He even attended the parties I used to have at my house for the singles. We wondered for quite sometime why we never dated back than, but realized that it wasn't the right time for us. July 21, 2007, the timing was right and it was well worth the wait.

Mingle was the tool that reconnected us after 15 years and we are so thankful.
