My hubby and I met here on LDS Mingle. In fact, he was the first person to send me a smile. :) Now we're sealed for time and eternity and just had our first child - a beautiful baby girl. Life is GREAT!
I thought you'd all like to know that you have another success story. Alderaniandad2X and I met through your site with a smile on 11/13/06. He tells me I was a 100% match for him, and he turns out to be my soulmate. After nealy 15 years of being a single mom I never imagined there would be a perfect person for me. When you consider that we were both encouraged into this by our adult children, and we are both in our 60's, it's quite surreal, and yes, our children are astonished.
We were married by "our" Bishop on 04/14/07, and are looking forward to our Temple sealing at a time when all of our children who have recommends can be with us.
Our combined total of 10( 9 living) children are scattered around the world and hopefully will all be in one place within the next year. What an incredible and short journey this has been...We are thrilled to be Mr and Mrs., and look forward to many many years of joy and service together.
Thanks LDSMINGLE...... Ann and Kim

My mom was on here and I made fun of her relentlessly, so she made me a profile. I was at school at BYUI and she had just moved to Utah, so I came home and visited her one weekend and was on here and met a guy from Lake Powell (yes there are actually people who live there). Anyway we talked for several hours that night and every night for months. He then left on a mission, and I continued to date while he was gone. He came home in November, and we are now getting married this May!!!
Hawkster and I met in August 2006. I had been online for 3 weeks and he had been online 2 months. We were in two different states and quickly became friends. He would send me cute cards and little smiles. At one point we decided to meet so in December 2006 we met. We have been together ever since. He and I are planning on getting married as soon as possible and as soon as I can move to where he is.
**UPDATED July 25th, 2007**
I just wanted to give you an Update. Jacob and I are getting Married September 29th 2007.
‘I was standin’ at the end of my rainbow, with nowhere to go and no pot of gold in sight.’ These words from the country song ‘Not A Moment Too Soon’ described my feeling perfectly until I met Laura. Our story began when Laura and I first came in contact back in late July of 2006. She was the one to make the first contact by sending a smile. When I received her smile, my first reaction was ‘oh, how nice of her.’ As I always did, I sent her a smile in return and as they say ‘the rest is history.’ That was the start of the greatest dream to ever come true.
From the beginning, I always knew there was something very special about Laura. I had very little success in even going on dates up until that time in my life. You see, I am a quadriplegic and have been since I was hit by a car at the age of three. I had come to terms with the fact that I probably wouldn’t marry in this life, and it was very hard on me. I had, for all intents and purposes, given up on trying to find her. Because of this, I had come to learn to simply be a great friend to those I met, and not have expectations beyond that. At the time, Laura needed a good friend and I was trying to be that for her. After e-mailing back and forth several times, the interest in each other began to grow deeper. We soon started instant messaging on ldsmingle any time we saw each other online. I honestly could not wait to talk to her each time. It was in late September when I first told her that I loved her. I thought she might think I was some weird-o for saying that since we hadn’t yet met in person. I was wrong, however she at first thought it was more of a friendship love rather than a true love. A few weeks later she told me that she loved me as well. I had a hard time believing at first that anyone would want to love me. Could I be so lucky? Could Laura be an answer to my prayers? My circumstances are such that most people don’t want to deal with them. Laura’s love for and interest in me was so great that she did her ‘homework’ so to speak on my particular spinal cord injury, so she could understand me better. So, we had talked about meeting in February for the first time, however our love had grown so much that we couldn’t wait that long. I decided to fly her out to Arizona (as it is difficult for me to fly) on December 15th of that year. We were both extremely nervous (she even drove around the block once before coming to the house). The weekend turned out great. From then on, we haven’t been able to deny our love for each other, and it has been hard living so far apart.
We have had hard times along our journey, particularly with my family, but from that point in late September/early October, I knew I wanted to marry Laura. Actually, we both knew before this life, it just took us a while to remember. I am continually amazed by her strength, sincerity, compassion and love for me. She could have had any guy she wanted, and she chose me. I ask myself every day why I am so blessed to have her in my life. My Heavenly Father has truly blessed me, and I am eternally grateful that Laura is a part of me. I love her very much, and as we are sealed in the house of the Lord, it will be the continuation of our own fairy tale. We truly are, in the words of a certain country singer, ‘Livin’ Our Love Song’.

In January, a few days after breaking up with someone, I met ramsesxv on LDSmingle. We sent smiles and wrote some emails, then the next night we talk on the phone then the next night we went to dinner. We thought since we lived in the same area, why not meet in person soon, no need to stay on the internet when we could talk in person. The communication was great. We both have a great love of the Temple, The Lord, and it has grown into the most wonderful Friendship and love of each other. We are getting married and I couldn't be happier. Thank you making it possible for us to meet :)

I met the man of my dreams here on LDS Mingle almost a year ago. We chated for about a month online and decided to meet. A month after our first date we went out again and well the rest is history. We married almost a year later on March 3, 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. Shane is the one I have been waiting for and he's perfect for me. Our story was in the Deseret news on March 30, 2007. I'm the happiest girl in the world and I thank god for saving a special one just for me.
On December 2, 2006 Trueldsmale and I (LDS_2by2) met via IM. It was sparks from the start. We both agree that we would have never met anyother way. Thanks LDSmingle... We where married on the 14th of March 2007 in Navuoo..

"onion" (aka Aaron) first e-mailed me last March and we met in person two months later. He lived in Gilbert, Arizona and I lived in Somerville, Massachusetts. We dated for about 10 months, going back and forth visiting each other and "meeting in the middle" on occasion. I'm thrilled to report that we got married two weeks ago in the Mesa, Arizona temple. Thank you very much for providing this forum for people to meet.
