Through LDSMingles
I met him through LDSMingles. We began dating last December and we got married on Jan. 6, 2005. He moved down here to San Antonio from the Arlington area. Thanks again for all your help.

The bottom line is it worked
All it took was a “smile” and a couple e-mails before we were talking on the phone and eventually dating. That was 10 months ago, and now we're engaged to be married in July. We still laugh about the fact that we found each other on the Internet, but the bottom line is it worked! Many thanks to LDSMingle.

May you all be as lucky as me!
I will be eternally grateful to all of you at LDSMingle. I met the love of my life here. We met in person after 4 months of chatting and endless hours on the phone. At the end of the 9 days we spent together, we started planning our wedding! :-) In a few weeks I'll get her a ring and make it official, and I owe it all to this site. I have recommended this site to several people and I wish them, and everyone else here, the best of luck in finding their match. May you all be as lucky as me! :-)

The big day is August 4, 2005

Well, never would have guessed I would have met someone via the Internet!! But we wouldn't have found each other any other way! He lived in South Carolina and I was back in Utah. We had to rely on phone conversations and emails in getting to know each other, which actually is a great way to do it. When we did meet face to face we already felt so comfortable with each other conversation wasn't difficult at all! We were engaged three weeks later! The big day is August 4, 2005. Thanks LDSmingle. -"Littlerunt" and "Chango"

It all started out with a smile :)
I am sooo glad that I decided to join ldsmingle. I never would have dreamed of finding anyone online to date, let alone to become my eternal companion, but I did! Last month we got engaged and we'll be getting married this August in the Salt Lake Temple. And to think it all started out with a smile :) I am so happy. He is just the one for me. And I know we'll be very happy together. I love him so much. Thank You, ldsmingle. It's so nice to have a site like this that has given us and so many others an opportunity to meet. I have truly found my "rescuer".

Keep the faith!
"Jonathon357" and I met October 10, 2004, when he sent me a mingle mail. Five days later, I responded. We kept writing back and forth and he was very consistent. Soon, I sent him my phone number to give him permission to call me. We were talking on the phone on a regular basis. Then, we decided on a date that would be good for him to visit. He lives in Illinois and I live in Idaho. He flew out to see me January 14, and we hit it off. The best part was being able to go to the temple together. After he left, I booked a flight to go see him in Illinois. It was the longest month ever, before we got to see each other again. By then, we had been talking about getting married, so it was no surprise when he proposed on Valentine's day. Soon after I left Illinois, he came to Idaho, then on to visit friends in Washington, before we got married in March. We were sealed March 12, 2005, in the Idaho Falls Temple. We spent three weeks together before he went back to Illinios and I stayed in Idaho to finish my semester in college. We are now expecting a baby in December (I have a 5 year old daughter from a previous relationship) and will be living together in Illinois in two weeks. It is amazing the things that can happen in one's life when one is persistent. Both of our dreams have come true thanks to this LDSMingle site. We would encourage others to keep the same persistent attitude that worked for us. Keep the faith!
Sincerely,
Dannygirl and Jonathon357.

Married in the Logan Temple

I was having a lot of trouble with my dating life. I tried to go on a lot of dates with women I knew and were interested in, but none of those dates seemed to go anywhere. There were times when I felt very discouraged, wondering if I would be able to find someone to marry. One evening in June 2003, I felt a bit fed up with the dating scene in my home ward and decided to try LDS Mingle. I have a friend that met his wife online and I figured if it could work for him, maybe I could do the same. I looked at all the LDS dating websites and decided to try LDS Mingle because it was the most popular and heavily visited among them. Not long after I signed up, a certain lady noticed from seeing my profile that I was going to grad school at the same university that her cousin had gone to, so she decided to send me a "smile". We started emailing each other, and eventually she took a long bus ride to visit me in person. She really enjoys the outdoors so I took her on a couple of day trips to some of my favorite places. It was during these trips that I found myself starting to fall in love with her. Finally on our last night together, just before taking her back to my friend's place where she was staying, we talked about how we felt about each other. Then we went outside and we had our first of many kisses together. A few months later in October she flew in for another visit with me. Then, in April 2004, I flew to visit her and proposed to her in the back of the Temple. We were married in the Logan Temple in August 2004 and we have been loving our life together ever since. We are really happy about our experience with LDS Mingle and have encouraged many of our single friends to try it out.

He proposed on Valentine’s Day

We started writing each other sometime in November. We almost didn't get past that point, because in writing I had told him about how I had to support my first two husbands, so if I got married I really didn't want to have to work. He wrote back and told me how he felt. He wished he was in a position where I wouldn't have to work, but I would probably have to work at least part-time. After thinking about that for a while, I realized that the fact that I had two kids, if we did get married, he would be putting himself out just helping me raise them. So I wrote back and said that it was fair that I work part-time. I was just trying to explain that if I got married I didn’t want to support another husband, but he didn’t seem the type to make me support him.
We arranged to go out on a date, and we went out on our first date one week before Christmas. We had a lot of fun, but we were both busy with our lives. Since he had had a bad relationship before, and with my past two bad marriages, we decided we would take it slow and only went out every other weekend for the first month and a half. Gradually, we started going out one night every weekend, which turned into spending everyday of every weekend that we could.
Part of me was afraid things wouldn’t work out because my son has ADHD and has a lot of anger due to the way his biological father and his first stepfather treated him after I had married him. But, both my son and daughter love him and I believe we will be a happy family.
He proposed on Valentine’s Day and I couldn’t be happier. We have been planning our wedding ever since and doing what we could to prepare, including me filing for a Cancellation of Sealing from my first husband. That seemed to take forever because every time that I thought the papers were on their way to church headquarters, there was something else I needed to do. After they were on their way, it seemed to take forever to get a response back. But, we finally got it, and we were able to finalize our wedding plans. (Reserve a sealing room, make invitations, etc.) We are so excited to be married! We are so much in love. I believe we have truly met our soul mate.
We will be sealed on June 11th at 10:00 am. The reception will be from 4-7 pm at
1570 E. Nicholls Rd. Fruit Heights, UT 84037.
Thank you again for your service, and I wouldn’t be as happy as I am today if it weren’t for this website. But, I also believe that Heavenly Father meant for us to meet at this time.
