I wasn't his ideal match

I saw his smile and read his perfect day and knew I had to contact him. I wasn't his ideal match, but I took a chance and boy, am I glad I did. We started emailing each other and then IMing and after having a 6 hour IM session we decided to talk to each other the next day. We talked for 9 hours our first phone conversation with each other and have talked to each other almost every day since, usually for 5 hours or more. He is everything I've ever hoped for and more and in only a few short weeks we have already decided to spend eternity with each other. I wasn't even going to look any more for a few months and he had pretty much given up too but suddenly, there we were for each other. We can't thank this site enough for bringing us together. We live several states apart and would've never met otherwise. I wish luck to everyone else who is still searching for their eternal partner. It can happen.

We even want to be married in the same temple

His Story:
I met this wonderful women named Jennifer, she was every thing I ever wanted and more. She is very spiritual, and she is the missing rib I have been longing for. We have so much in common, we even want to be married in the same temple. I wish the best of luck for all who seek, and just keep in mind follow your heart, mind, and spirit. If it was not for the lord, I would of never found my sweet love Jennifer. It was the will of the father who joined us together. And it was all because of Mingle. Thanks and God Bless you all.

Her story:
LDS Mingle enabled me to meet the man who I trust to see me to the other side of the veil from thousands of miles apart, without ever leaving my living room. I plan to marry "Michaelasteede" in the Nauvoo Temple just as soon as he returns home safely to me from Iraq. To all those who have been browbeat for using this medium of exchange, or are simply too embarrassed to let anyone know that you are even on a singles internet site - We are proof that Heavenly Father blesses those who use these tools righteously. I am so grateful to live in this day of technology that allowed me to meet my eternal companion. May God watch over and bless you all in your continued pursuits here.

Ours is a truly lovely and unique success story...Michael is now, and in fact has always been deployed in combat in Iraq since the day we met. Just like those romantic stories of the past, he came home on his combat R&R
leave and married me on Easter Sunday.

I NEVER though that I would get married again!

After corresponding with "MaxAbby" through MingleMail, we finally met in person in July. We have been dating ever since and as a matter of fact, we have decided to get married in May of next year. We grow closer and closer each day. The funny thing is I came to LDS Mingle to find friends. I NEVER though that I would get married again! I wasn't planning on it either. I have found the woman of my dreams thanks to LDS Mingle. I would have never found her if it weren't for you. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I have never been so happy, well, except for the birth of my daughters, of course. Take Care.

Sincerely,
Cowboy35

Fall in love with someone online?

To anyone who is not sure they will find true love on this site. I wondered how anyone could fall in love with someone online. Well, it happened to me. I never thought I would find my match on a computer. This may not be what Heavenly Father has planned for you, but whatever He has planned, listen to your heart. Be the person you are and give it all you got, even the scary stuff about you. You will attract the perfect person who will love you for all that you are. Be open, be loving, be yourself, and above all, be the person God wants you to be. You will find where you belong in the process.

The man I met on here is my perfect match and we are getting married this spring.

Engaged to be married in the Washington D.C. Temple

Dear LDS Mingle,

I just wanted to write to you and say thank you so much for your website. I have been on LDS Singles sites since 2002 and have been searching and searching for my one true love. I was promised in many priesthood blessings that he was out there somewhere being prepared for me.

But, as time went by, I started to get more and more discouraged. Then, one day, in April of this year, a girlfriend of mine told me about your website and that I should try it out.

So, that day, I logged on and checked out the different features it had to offer and I will have to admit that I was a little hesitant to join at first, but then I figured, I really had nothing to lose and who knows, maybe this could be it!

Shortly after I joined, I was searching through different profiles and I sent a few flirts. Then, the next day, I got an email from the cutest guy that I had ever laid my eyes on. I scanned through his profile one more time and sent him a reply to his email. And, that was the beginning.

He graduated from BYU in April and headed back across the country to Virginia, his homestate which was my homestate too! So, I gave him my phone number, so that we could still be in contact while he was traveling.

The first time we talked on the phone was May 3rd of this year. And, as he was driving through my hometown, I rather reluctantly agreed to meet him for a little game of putt-putt.

The first time we met face to face was on Wednesday, May 4th. I knew from the second I saw him, that I really wanted to know him better. We set up another date for the following weekend. We met on May 13th and went to a session in the Washington D.C. Temple - it was a magical moment. We had a picnic afterwards at a nearby park. It was perfect. I guess you could say, the rest is history.

We began offically dating on May 30, 2005. And, on August 8, 2005 - he asked me to marry him. Right now we are engaged to be married in the Washington D.C. Temple on Friday, December 16, 2005.

I just wanted to write and say thank you for your website, it truly did help - along with Heavenly Father's divine guidance - to make our deepest and greatest dreams come true.

Thanks Again,
Vamissqt

I was extremely busy, with very little time to date.

Last year, around June, I was finishing college in San Diego, CA. I was working full-time and going to school, so I was extremely busy, with very little time to date. I wondered how I was going to find a tall (I'm 6'1''), LDS, attractive guy that would click with me. I started chatting on here during one of my computer classes. There was a user on here, "Snupheluphagus", that had seen me months before when I opened my profile and had been waiting for me to sign on so that he could chat with me. Well finally one day I was on at the same time as him and he IM'd me. We started to chat and eventually exchanged phone numbers. He was on the opposite side of the country and also finishing school. We began chatting on the phone a couple of hours a day. And then he flew out for my college graduation to meet me for the first time. We knew then it was something special. And now a year and a half later, we are 3 months happily married and sealed in the Las Vegas Temple July 5.

We owe a debt of gratitude to LDSMINGLE and the life changing consequences it had. How else would two tall, LDS, single adults meet all the way across the country. Thank you to everyone and all that you do. I can truly say that we and our posterity are ETERNALLY grateful!!!

Sincerely,
"victoriasecret22" & "snupheluphagus"

Here is the wildest, most wonderful Internet dating story

Here is the wildest, most wonderful Internet dating story you may ever hear!! Actually, I met "Geowulf" 12 years ago. He was the mission companion of a friend of mine. Because I was such a faithful letter writer, "Geowulf" got my address and sent me a letter in hopes of receiving some mail. I enjoyed his letters so much that we wrote diligently for the remainder of his mission. After his mission, we met and got engaged. Well, as it is said “life happens” and we ended up going our separate ways. 12 years later, after "Geowulf"’s divorce he decided to give LDS Mingle a try. He completed his profile and suddenly I came up as his “perfect match”. After he got over the wow-ness of it, he sent me an email. Although it took some time, I soon realized it was “My Missionary” who was trying to contact me. We started emailing and soon began talking on the phone. I spent a lot of time analyzing my feelings, making sure that whatever I was feeling wasn’t just lingering from years before. You see, "Geowulf" was my “what if”. He was the one that I often thought about and wondered how he was. Even though in the meantime I had married and divorced someone else, I never totally got "Geowulf" out of my mind or out of my heart. After just a few weeks of talking, I was taking a trip to California to see a girlfriend of mine and decided to take a quick side trip to Arizona. The moment I got in his car I knew my life would never be the same again. Although the realization wasn’t quite as instant for him, he soon decided that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. We were officially engaged (again) two weeks later and will be married in the St. Paul Minnesota Temple on October 15, 2005. This time, I guarantee that NOTHING will get in the way of it. I consider myself to be so very blessed for having "Geowulf" in my life, and I am eternally thankful to Mingle for giving us the opportunity to get in contact with one another again.

More grateful than words can express,
Jenshep & Geowulf

We were sealed in the Columbus, Ohio Temple

Well, "britchick" looked at my profile, so I sent her a smile. We chatted a few times. I shocked her by asking for her phone number. She is from England and I am from Ohio. The first time we talked for 2-1/2 hours. I moved the next day and couldn't wait to call again. Soon we decided to meet and we planned for a July 4th meeting in the UK. This was early May 2004. Neither of us wanted to wait that long but I couldn't get off work before. So "britchick" spent her money she had saved for her carpet to fly here for my birthday, at the end of May. So, with everything going so well, I proposed on my birthday. She accepted and we spent the next 15 months getting the government happy. We were sealed in the Columbus, Ohio Temple on September 2, 2005, and are looking forward to an eternity of love and happiness.

Her Story:
Just as I was about to give up, along came "LDSgary". From the moment we chatted we connected on many many levels. We realized very quickly that we needed to meet. The rest they say is history. My son and I have moved to Ohio from England and we were sealed for time and all eternity on 2nd September 2005. So, LDS Mingle REALLY does work!!!! And, I hate to say it but it does happen when you least expect it! Thank you LDS Mingle for the many many friends I met--male and female from all over the world :)
We are extremely happy and have LDS Mingle to thank for bringing us together. :)
